By its classification, vodka is a neutral spirit. Most consumers crave flavor though, and distillers throughout the United States have responded with honey vodkas that blend herbs, spices, citrus flavors with honey. These spirits are far from neutral, but still impart the characteristics of a vodka.
There are quite a few honey vodkas available. We’ve tasted many of them and found our top three vodkas with honey.
From the Big Apple, with even bigger taste! The herbs and honey blended into this vodka has a slight spicy finish to give a unique flavor. The wildflower honey and notes of sourdough are an excellent addition to the soft and rounded mouthfeel.
Classic, but with a twist, is the best way to describe this honey vodka. The hint of honey’s wildflower and lavender aromas pairs well with the silky smooth finish. The acid and alcohol are well balanced to make this honey vodka a notable spirit.
Imparts the sweet smell of honeysuckle and orange peel without compromising the structural integrity of a classic vodka blended with wildflower honey. This vodka has enough character to mix or stand alone.
